E te iwi tēnā tatou katoa,
Tēnā koutou katoa I tēnei wa o Te Aranga a o te rahui hoki.
Greetings everyone,
Sincere thanks and gratitude to all our whanau out  there for rigorously following the “stay home, stay safe in your bubble” protocol.  Keep it up.  Let's remain vigilant. I want to also acknowledge our whānau members working on the frontline to provide essential services to our elderly, vulnerable and isolated communities and with Easter upon us, those of you working through, I salute you .This Easter whānau keep doing what you’re doing , stay home, stay safe , stay alive.
I want to acknowledge that this lockdown has impacted us all in many and various ways ranging from lost income, redundancies, health needs, accommodation issues, mental health issues,  kai supplies etc . I strongly encourage you all to call our 0800 number for advice and or assistance.
Finally on a personal note I will be staying with my mum in her bubble.  She isn’t liking this lockdown at all so for all of you out there taking care of our kaumatua, pakeke, vulnerable whānau,  be assured they absolutely need you to maintain contact with them by phone or zoom link or whatever works to keep them safely connected.  Mum doesn’t engage with modern technology in the way most of us do so let’s help our elders to feel connected with their loved ones.
