As a part of our Te Tai Whanake Ki Tauranga Moana project, we are holding a series of wānanga both as separate hapū and together as iwi. The hapu wānanga will all be held at the Ngāti Ranginui office board room at 166 17th Ave from 10am to 12.30pm with each hapū meeting on their respective day outlined below.
Wānanga for the whole iwi will also be held at the Ngāti Ranginui office board room at 166 17th Ave on the following days and times.
He aha tēnei kaupapa? What is this project? This project looks to create iwi-specific resources for Tauranga moana and these wānanga are part of the Ngāti Ranginui Education Strategy for the Te Tai Whanake Ki Tauranga Moana project. Ngāti Ranginui seek to implement hapū-centric and marae-specific content into this resource project. Te aronga o te wānanga. Objectives of these wānanga. The following list guides the format of these wānanga. The purpose being that their inclusion into these proposed resources of Te Tai Whanake ki Tauranga Moana will have Ngāti Ranginui korero stand distinct and in view.
